Outreach Programs
One of the missions of the Alabama Trappers and Predator Control Association is to seek more awareness and promote more intensive public conservation and education of youth and adults as to the essentials of trapping, hunting, fishing and to it's use as a necessary wildlife management tool. It is also to educate and train the young and inexperienced trappers in the harvesting and management of our natural and renewable resources and to give them our support.
Currently the ATPCA is working to educate Alabama youth through the Bibb County Career Academy, the Trailblazer Adventure Day held in Prattville, Trapper Education Workshops that are held throughout the state and at the annual Wild About Our Refuge event held in Bibb County.
