House Bill 235 and Senate Bill 346
Under existing law, traps used to trap fur-bearing animals are generally required to have
a plastic or metal tag which contains the license number and name and address of the owner. Beaver traps are not required to have the license number of the owner on the tag.
This bill would delete the use of plastic tags on traps and delete the requirement that the license number of the owner of a trap be contained
on any tag.
ATPCA is working with both the Senate and the House of Representatives on getting this legislation passed during this legislative session.
